How do I get rid of the virus I got from Game Copy World?
I was trying to be able to play a star wars game I have without the cd, everything I checked said to go to gamecopyworld.com I went there and now I can’t get this thing off, it’s mal/behavioral 306 or something like that. It pops up with a messed up looking windows security windows.
You are infected and you need to purchase some kind of program to fix the issue then you are infested with probably hundreds of spyware.
First of all you need to go to START-RUN- type MSCONFIG- click where it says selective start up and then unclick the option that says LOAD START UP ITEMS. Then restart
Boot your pc into the safe mode with networking and
download Avast antivirus www.avast.com- Install and run, while that is working then download Glarysoft utilities www.download.com and look up for the program. Install and run all the little neat cleaners and optimizers that the program offers including cookie cleaners and registry cleaners.
Just to be sure, you can download an anti-spyware like spyware search and destroy, and run it before you boot your computer to the normal state.
